Raw vegan “cheezy” kale crisps

Miss walkers cheese and onion crisps??!! Fed up of artificially flavoured, high saturated fat crisps??!! Well try this recipie. So tasty. I hope you enjoy it as much as me. P.s dyhradtaor needed. 


Ingredients 

2 big bags of Kale

1 cup cashew nuts

1 cup red bell pepper

1/3 cup nutritional yeast

2 tbsps soy sauce 

squeeze of lemon juice

1 tablespoon of smoked paprika

1 tablespoon turmeric 

2 teaspoon sea salt of choice

2 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon cayenne pepper

water to get the right consistency – thick, but creamy – about 1/4 cup to 1/2 cup

Method:

1. tear the leaves off of the stems of kale, make sure not to include the spine!  

2. wash the kale and dry thoroughly

3. Put all ingredients bar the kale into a food processor. Blend until smooth and creamy. Add water until you get the consistency of a cheese sauce. 

4. pour the “Cheese” Sauce over the kale until fully and evenly coated ​

5. DEHYDRATOR: place on the rack and set to dry at 50° C (130° F) for about 10-12 hours or overnight.

6. Enjoy
